Dear All at FOLOMI,
Love and greetings in the name of our precious Lord Jesus!
Trust you are all well and safe in the care of the Most High, celebrating His grace even in the present state of social restrictions.
It is heartbreaking to see thousands dead and the fearful conditions in hospitals and medical institutions all over the world and the visitation of a global economic crash.
The Gampaha District we live in, is a 'high risk' zone with several infected cases, therefore our territory is locked down for the past nine weeks. All shops, government institutions and trade are closed completely. The Police Curfew prevails in all other districts too. Essential services and food supply is restricted to absolute limitations compelling people to go outdoors fighting for survival whilst risking their lives.
This I believe is the time and opportunity for each of us and the church to reflect on our own lives, trust God for change and raise our voices on behalf of a fallen world suffering the consequence of rejecting and disregarding the Creator.
God in His goodness is igniting our spirit to a holy revival equipping the church to gather yet another harvest of souls he himself will prepare in and through these dark and horrible circumstances. So, let us join with compassion and love for the millions who are battling in their own world of darkness and without Jesus.
Jean and self are safe and so are the rest of our family. These days we spend more time engaged in the ministry of prayer, intercession and spiritual intelligence covering our precious family and friends all over the world, which includes your church family too. We also spend time seeking insight to the end-time revelations of God and his plan for the next season.
In practical terms, a storehouse is set up to supply essential dry rations to needy families and the elderly. This is done with utmost care, abiding by health and safety regulations and with the assistance of the local Police..
May I take this opportunity to express our gratitude and heartfelt thanks for the donation your church made in support of this effort.
Our team is on the move distributing 'Mercy Bags' of food and essentials to those in desperate need and victimized by the serious economic complications. We reached 120 families last month and 100 this week giving us opportunity to share the love of Christ and His gift of Salvation. Thanks for your prayers for a harvest of souls even in the midst of chaos.
May the Lord continue to favour the pastors, leaders and congregation at FOLOMI. We are delighted to know you are a 'mission minded' church with a passion and commitment to minister the Gospel of Salvation to the Ends of the Earth.
With blessings of joy and protection. Rejoice!!
